Indoor Soccer....
Kade got the opportunity to play indoor soccer with some of his buddies, and have his Dad for the coach. This boy adores soccer!!! It is so fun watching him play and progress in this game. One day he is going to do amazing things with his talent.
For once, Brayden has to be the spectator
Pass of all Passes
I was fortunate to find the Pass of all Passes at a killer deal. Our first outing using them....Trafalga! Kaylee and I tried the rock wall and only made it about half way up. It was terrifying! Hopefully we can make it a little higher next time.
Church History Museum...
We always love going up to the Church History Museum, it's free and there's lots for the kids to do. We decided to take Dad with us on his day off since he's never been. We chose a really, really busy day to go, but we still enjoyed our time spent there.
Sonia Retires...
We have loved Grandma Sonia working at the library. We have spent many hours there reading books, going to story time, and doing art projects. The kids love running behind the desk and going to greet Grandma. They always check the kitchen for any yummy food. I have been especially grateful having her there cause she always renew's my books when I forget to return them...which is ALWAYS. One time she was in Brasil for a month and I forgot about a bunch of books and DVD's that had. My library bill was $100!!!! (Yes, I was banned from the library for awhile.) Grandma has been waiting for the day that she could finally retire....the day finally came. We went to visit her on her last day to give her a big surprise. Kaylee had made Grandma a tutu because she said she would finally be around to play dress up with her. She loved it!
The kids loved that there were LOTS of yummy treats to celebrate Grandma's last day
Grandma Sonia and our adopted library Grandma, Susan
That night the library threw a surprise dinner for her at Made in Brazil. Wes and Lacy and their family surprised her for driving up for the night.
So much for Grandma Sonia

Love my Handyman...
I seriously have to give Mike some serious credit for dealing with me on a daily basis. I am always coming up with projects and things to do around the house. I think projects are one of his very least favorite things to do...but my favorite. Since we've moved into this house I have complained about the lack of storage. He finally humored me and built me these fabulous hooks/shelf. I have loved that the kids have a place to store their backpacks and coats. Now if I could just get them to actually hang them up!
Before...just a waste of space
Mike got this saw for Christmas, and it's just been sitting in the garage. He actually didn't even realize we had it, until I pulled it out. So glad he could finally put it to good use!
Finished project
Valentines Day...
For Valentine's this year we decided to have a low key, romantic night at home...with the kids:) We celebrated with pizza, heart rice krispie treats, and sparkling grape juice. They even got to use the "special glasses."
