Last week of school...

I (not the kids) have been counting down the days until school was out! We are finally out, enjoying the sun, sleeping in, fun family time, and keeping ourselves busy, busy busy. The last week of school the kids did a couple of fun things that I thought I would post.

Brayden had a great year with Mrs. Montoya. He learned a lot and excelled a lot during the year. I am bummed that I didn't get a picture of Brayden with her. The last week of school they had pet day. Since we don't believe in pets at our house, Brayden had to borrow my dad's dog Titus to bring to school. Brayden thought it was fun pretending for a day that he had his own pet.

Kaylee had a Kindergarten program the last week of school. It's always fun watching her perform since it's something she LOVES. The teacher sent home a note saying they were going to have a fashion show, this was *DING DING* to Kaylee. She immediately started planning. They had asked that the kids wear something that is their favorite it could be a shirt, shoes, jersey, etc. Most kids did just that. They wore their favorite shirt, or their favorite shoes. Well, Kaylee had it all planned out. She wore her favorite skirt, with sparkly shoes, she brought her purse, with a cell phone and sun glasses. She actually wanted to wear my really high black boots cause those are her absolute favorite, but I talked her out of that...thank goodness.

They have made some good friends and they will really miss them when they go to their new school.
